I’m Kara Maher, founder of College Conversation and a college counselor with over 15 years of experience guiding students and families through the admissions process. My background includes several years at a prestigious college preparatory school in Florida, where I’ve helped more than 500 students find a path to their best-fit college. Along the way, I’ve visited over 80 campuses in 20 states and gained deep insight into what colleges are really looking for.

That said, we can start anytime! I’ll meet you wherever you are on your college-bound journey and help you get on track. After your initial conversation, you’ll receive a personalized College Blueprint for the year, and you can book Hourly College Advising for ongoing support, check-ins, and adjustments as deadlines approach.
